    Therapeutic and Corrective Exercise

    Corrective Exercise is a method of exercise programming unlike any other. It begins with a detailed analysis of the physical structure of the body. The analysis will determine if there are any imbalances or deficits that may affect performance. The analysis is followed by the development of a very specific corrective exercise and flexibility program that will help correct the body’s structure and restore it back to normal.

    Movement Assessments

    Movement patterns start in the brain, and therefore chiropractic therapies must focus on everything that contributes to movement—not just the muscular system, but the nervous system, too.  We will go through a series of steps throughout  your assessment;

    1. Identify the affected structures
    2. Determine changes in motion patterns
    3. Determine affected kinetic chains
    4. Apply corrective treatment, exercise, and motor control protocols

    Acupuncture & Cupping Therapy

    Acupuncture is an organized system of diagnosis and treatment that entails stimulating certain points on the body to alleviate pain, assist recovery from injury, decrease stress and inflammation, or to help treat a wide range of health conditions. Needling may be performed locally to the pain, other areas of the body, with or without electrical stimulation, all decided upon on a case-by-case basis.

    Acupuncture is linked to the belief that pain and disease is caused by disruptions to the circulation of electricity (nervous system) and blood (vascular system) in the body. Acupuncture needles stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and relaxes the vascular system and soft tissue to release this disruption, bringing relief to the system.
