Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic adjustment is a procedure in which trained specialists (chiropractors) use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled, sudden force to a spinal joint. The goal of chiropractic adjustment, also known as spinal manipulation, is to correct structural alignment and improve your body's physical function.

Active Release Techniques
ART® is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.
Therapeutic and Corrective Exercise
Corrective Exercise is a method of exercise programming unlike any other. It begins with a detailed analysis of the physical structure of the body. The analysis will determine if there are any imbalances or deficits that may affect performance. The analysis is followed by the development of a very specific corrective exercise and flexibility program that will help correct the body’s structure and restore it back to normal.
Movement Assessments
Movement patterns start in the brain, and therefore chiropractic therapies must focus on everything that contributes to movement—not just the muscular system, but the nervous system, too. We will go through a series of steps throughout your assessment;
- Identify the affected structures
- Determine changes in motion patterns
- Determine affected kinetic chains
- Apply corrective treatment, exercise, and motor control protocols
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization
Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization or Simply IASTM is a new range of tool which enables clinicians to efficiently locate and treat individuals diagnosed with soft tissue dysfunction. It is performed with ergonomically designed instruments that detect and treat fascial restrictions, encourage rapid localization and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis, chronic inflammation, or degeneration.
Kinesiology Taping
The list of kinesiology tape benefits is so extensive and so varied, it has earned the nickname “magic tape.” It has become one of the most widely-used therapeutic modalities in both athletic and healthcare settings.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the manipulation to the soft tissue of the body that helps facilitate healing and pain relief. Whether you're looking to relax after a long week, some 'me time', general maintenance of your body, working thru old injuries, new injuries, or increasing your range of motion and athletic performance, a massage from our licensed massage therapist is a great way to recover. Our Licensed Massage Therapist offers 30-minute, 60-minute, 90-minute, and 120-minute massages while specializing in numerous massage techniques.
Cupping
Cupping therapy is a form of myofascial release practiced worldwide. Using glass or plastic "cups", a suction is created on the skin, opening compressed soft tissue and allowing free flow of blood and body fluids. Cupping is used for many purposes including the treatment of pain and tension, inflammation, affected blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and facial rejuvenation.
Dry Needling
Dry Needling (DN) is considered a skilled minimally invasive intervention that uses a thin filament needle to penetrate a variety of altered or dysfunctional connective soft tissue including derma, fascia, muscle, scar tissue, ligaments, tendon, peripheral nerves, neurovascular bundles, and even rigid structures such as bone. DN is primarily used for the management of acute and chronic neuromusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. It is considered a form of medical therapy, and many different terms of this type of medical therapy currently exist; these include intramuscular stimulation, trigger point acupuncture, trigger point dry needling, myofascial trigger point dry needling, intramuscular manual therapy, and/or biomedical acupuncture. DN is defined as “dry” because no chemical solution is involved with the insertion of the needle into the tissue. This makes DN distinctly different from “wet” needling, which does involve injection of solution via a needle into connective tissue.
What our patients are saying about us
Fantastic Experience
I can't even begin to explain how much Dr. Faulkner has done to improve my quality of life. She's taught me so much about listening to my body and doing what helps me. The relief she's brought me over the last few months has honestly changed my life for the better. I can't express my gratitude enough! Would definitely recommend.

Relieved Pain
"I am beyond thankful for Apex! The moment I walk in the door I know I am welcome and going to be well taken care of. I have seen both Meghan and Mary for some time and recommend them every chance I get. Both of these ladies always start with an open conversation about my current pain/need, and then a treatment follows specific to my individual needs. Also, the front desk staff are wonderful! They are willing to make insurance calls and help you figure out the best plan financially."
