Keelie McCanless

Rehab & Movement Specialist

Keelie is passionate about empowering active individuals to optimize their fitness potential by unlocking “mindful movement,” which she defines as enhanced body awareness and controlled, high-quality movement patterns. Through detailed observation and personalized feedback, she guides and educates patients on how to correct inefficient or unsafe movement patterns, aiding in rehabilitation, injury prevention, and improved athletic performance.

Keelie served as a Movement Coach for the industry-leading functional movement and rehabilitative fitness company, MoveU, where she also acted as the Content Director for the development of the original MoveU app. She is a Certified MovNat (Natural Movement) Trainer and held the position of MovNat Head of Operations for several years. Additionally, she is a Certified Trainer of the GYROTONIC® Method, a revolutionary movement system that incorporates key principles from swimming, yoga, gymnastics, and ballet. Training clients with the GYROTONIC® Method has significantly influenced her approach to rehabilitation, movement, and mobility.

Currently, Keelie is the Mobility and Dryland Coach for the Cedar Park Nitro Swim team’s National group, guiding elite high school athletes through workout circuits that develop mobility, strength, and conditioning. She has also guided patients through personalized brain-balancing therapies at a functional medicine/functional neurology clinic and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over a decade.

Outside of the clinic, Keelie enjoys immersing herself in nature, exploring plants and wildlife, and testing her physical abilities by crawling under, climbing on, vaulting over, running past, or paddling alongside anything she encounters—all with her adventurous husband, Charlie, by her side.
