Heather Lee Oswalt, LMT, MTI RYT

Massage Therapist

Heather is a dedicated and compassionate massage therapist, Austin native, and a 2009 graduate of The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School, where she received training in Swedish, structural bodywork, myofascial release, sports, orthopedic, and deep tissue massage. In addition, she has pursued continued education in Reiki, Thai massage, Shiatsu, and cupping.

A registered Hatha Yoga instructor since 2012, Heather has led both local and international retreats. She is also an MTI (Massage Therapy Instructor) and teaches at The Lauterstein-Conway Massage School. Heather integrates breathwork and myofascial release into both her massage and yoga practices.

With a deep commitment to holistic healing, Heather specializes in therapeutic massage techniques and modalities designed to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. She believes healing begins from the heart. Emphasizing “less mind, more heart,” she encourages mindful movement, intentional breath, and daily self-care to activate the parasympathetic nervous system—where true rest, restoration, and healing occur. Heather often reminds clients that even five minutes of breathwork and self-care can shift the momentum of a day.

Drawing from years of experience and a profound understanding of the body’s healing processes, Heather offers personalized treatments tailored to each client’s unique needs. Whether someone is seeking relief from chronic pain, stress reduction, or simply a moment of relaxation, her approach integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities to create a comprehensive and rejuvenating experience.

Heather’s approach to bodywork is customized to each client’s specific needs, and each session is guided with emotional presence and deep consideration for the anatomy, nervous system, and body/mind connection as a whole. Her sessions blend Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point, cupping, and breath to relieve pain, improve circulation, rehabilitate injuries, and increase relaxation.

Heather’s bodywork is intuitive and deeply personalized, designed to get to the root of the “issues in the tissues.” She shares practical tools to help clients address their individual needs and move through the world more mindfully and peacefully within their physical bodies. She meets each client on eye level—literally and figuratively—ensuring they feel heard, valued, loved, and seen.

Her mission is to create a safe space for all bodies to heal and feel through massage, yoga, and heart-forward thought. Located in the heart of Austin, Heather’s practice is a sanctuary for those seeking to restore balance and harmony in their lives. With a focus on creating a serene and welcoming environment, she is dedicated to helping clients achieve their wellness goals through the power of touch, yoga therapy, somatic practices, and therapeutic care.
